Matthew Skinner

Part II Architectural Assistant

Matthew studied for his BArch (Hons) at Nottingham Trent University, before gaining 12 months professional experience across a variety of different sectors in 2014 at a Cambridge architectural practice. He then completed his MArch master’s degree at the University of Lincoln in 2016, graduating with a distinction.

Matthew joined Stanley Bragg Architects in February 2019 following 3 years working as a Part II architectural assistant in Cambridge, having worked on numerous large residential extensions and alterations, as well as student accommodation and mixed-use development schemes. Alongside his role in the office, Matthew is currently working towards his Part III at UWE in Bristol for full accreditation as a registered architect which he hopes to achieve by the end of 2019.

Since Joining Stanley Bragg, Matthew has been involved in various projects including large extensions to Garden Centres and large mixed-use development and commercial alterations projects in Essex.

Outside of the office Matthew enjoys travelling, football, walks in the countryside with his border collie and DIY projects on his house.
