Laurie Anderson

Associate Architect

BArch (Hons), PgDipArch, RIBA

Laurie began his employment at Stanley Bragg in 2004 whilst studying for his Part I and Part II architectural qualifications at Oxford Brookes University, which included a specialism in Sustainable Building: Performance and Design with the Oxford Institute of Sustainable Development.

In 2008, he left us to gain valuable experience in his career with employment at two other architect practices working on commercial, leisure, education and residential projects. We were delighted when he agreed to return to our practice in March 2014, and he has been specialising in residential projects ever since.

With his educational background delving heavily into sustainable buildings. “A lot of my work has a great emphasis on sustainability. I hope to see the practice establish itself as a specialist in this area, especially with the world’s progression into a zero carbon era.”

Laurie recently completed his Part III qualification at the University of Greenwich.

Away from architecture, you’ll find Laurie playing golf and badminton, cycling or running cross country. A lover of outside pursuits, he likes to visit the Lake District and Snowdonia at least a couple of times a year.
