Littlegarth School, Colchester
New Learning Centre Extension
Stanley Bragg Architects were appointed by the Governors of Littlegarth School to develop a new replacement teaching and learning facility in the grounds of the Grade 2 listed house, situated in an area of ‘Outstanding Natural Beauty.’
The new building which comprises 6 new classrooms, a nursery, library, IT suite, art and DT classroom and a performing arts department comprising studios for music and drama in a split land design to work with the sloping site.
Traditionally tendered, the build was completed within 10 months.
