Bentfield Primary School, Stansted
A New Hall & Store with link to the existing school
This project provided a new hall and store with link to existing school on a very confined site, surrounded by protected mature trees. To retain the trees special foundations were used to minimise the buildings impact. The building uses a glulam timber frames system for the roof construction along with masonry walls with sustainable Larch timber cladding and timber brise soleil to sit naturally into the trees.
